There’s nothing more warming than a hot cup of mulled apple cider, and it couldn’t be easier with a fragrant spice blend full of cinnamon, ginger, cloves, allspice, and cardamom. I like to add citrus peels and honey alongside this flavorful blend. If preferred, add 1 oz rum or brandy to your glass before serving! Tip: When peeling the citrus, try to avoid the white pith, which can be bitter.
8 cups apple cider
1 tablespoon Oaktown Spice Shop Mulling Spices
Combine the apple cider, mulling spices, orange peel, lemon peel, and honey in a large pot.
For a clearer apple cider, strain through a coffee filter.
