These delightful homemade truffles are the perfect gift for a dessert-obsessed friend or loved one. Or an easy way to snazz up your holiday party dessert platter.
Our Golden Milk blend combines the earthy notes of turmeric with sweet warming spices, all of which pair beautifully with decadent white chocolate and rich dates.
Recipe created by Dana Plucinski (@baydish)
Makes 20 truffles.
1 tablespoon Golden Milk
12 ounces white chocolate, melted, separated into 10 oz and 2 oz portions
2 cups walnuts
10 dates, pitted (if dates aren’t soft to the touch, soak them in hot water for at least 15 minutes beforehand)
⅓ cup shredded coconut
2 tablespoons maple syrup
Pinch of salt
2 ounces semisweet chocolate chips, melted
Pinch of Humboldt Flake Salt, plus more for topping
1 tablespoon dried rose petals
Mix the Golden Milk into the 10 oz of melted white chocolate until combined; set aside.
Add walnuts, dates, coconut, and maple syrup to a food processor and blend for about one minute or until well combined. The mixture should form into a ball.
Using your hands, roll the filling into golf ball-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined sheet.
Going one by one, dip each ball into the Golden Milk white chocolate mixture, fully coating, and place back onto the baking sheet. Drizzle with the white chocolate and chocolate, and sprinkle with the dried rose petals and flaky salt. Refrigerate for one hour and enjoy. Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

I made these for my daughter who had gifted me with Oaktown’s Golden Milk. The truffles are pretty addictive, very easy to make and present nicely. Thank you for the recipe – it’s a keeper.
