Dukkah Crusted Goat Cheese Salad

Spice up your salad with these bistro-inspired goat cheese balls rolled in a fragrant, nut-free Dukkah! Sweet, salty, earthy and herbaceous flavors marry in this simple salad for a satisfying side dish that hits all the notes.
Ingredients

3 tablespoons Oaktown Spice Shop Dukkah
- 4 ounces goat cheese (chevre)
- 6 cups mixed greens
- 1 cup cucumber, sliced
- ½ cup blueberries
- ½ cup steamed beets, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves, torn

1 teaspoon Oaktown Spice Shop Dukkah
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon maple syrup
- ¼ cup olive oil

Pacific flake or kosher salt, to taste

black pepper, to taste
Dressing
Directions
- Place the Dukkah in a shallow dish.
- Use a measuring spoon to scoop goat cheese, ½ tablespoon at a time, and roll into balls.
- Roll the goat cheese ball in the Dukkah to coat. Set aside.
- Combine the greens, cucumber, blueberries, beets, onion, and mint in a bowl. Top with goat cheese balls.
- Combine all the dressing ingredients. Drizzle over the salad. Toss and enjoy!
