Chile Limon Mezcal Margarita

Chile Limon Mezcal Margarita

Serve up something smoky with a mezcal margarita rimmed with our Chile Limón spice blend. Mezcal is tequila’s cool cousin with a touch of smoke and layers of complexity.

Chile Limón combines the heat of chile with the tartness of lime juice, an accent of citrusy coriander, plus a touch of sea salt.

This drink is the perfect summer sipper!

Ingredients

1 ½ ounces mezcal
½ ounce Cointreau or orange liqueur
½ ounce simple syrup
1 ounce lime juice
Ice

Rim:

1 lime, quartered
Chile Limón

Directions

Combine the mezcal, Cointreau, simple syrup, lime juice and ice in a shaker. Shake for 30 seconds, or until combined and frosty.

Place the Chile Limón seasoning on a small plate. Run the cut side of a lime along the glass.

Add ice to the glass, and pour the shaken margarita overtop. Enjoy!
