There’s never a wrong time for a margarita! While a classic margarita is delicious, we love putting a seasonal spin on our cocktails for the holidays. Blood oranges are in season from autumn onwards, and they scream festivity!
Their deep ruby color and slight raspberry notes are the perfect complement to Oaktown Spice Shop’s Vanilla Bean Sea Salt. This salt is delicious on baked goods, pancakes, and oatmeal, but our favorite way to use it is in a salty rim for a sippable cocktail. Can’t find blood oranges? Use pomegranate or orange juice instead!
Ingredients
- 1 oz triple sec
- 1 ½ oz tequila
- 2 oz blood orange juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- 1 oz lime juice
- 2 oz soda water
- Ice
