Mexican-Style Adobo

Delightfully garlicky and earthy with a contrast of citrus, this blend adds a bit of zestiness to beans, soups, stews, eggs, chicken and pork. Add 1-2 teaspoons per pound of meat. Notes of oregano and cumin complement lemon and orange zests in this blend.

Hand-mixed from: Garlic, onion, black pepper, cumin, lemon zest, orange zest, sea salt and Mexican oregano.

"This is a staple in my kitchen. I love that it encompasses a lot of flavors that you see in Mexican cuisine, such as bright and grassy Mexican oregano and zesty oranges and lemons. This is my all-purpose seasoning: I add it to my eggs in the morning for a scrambled egg and quesadilla breakfast; I sprinkle it on zucchini, mushrooms, and broccoli for a grilled veggie dish; I add it to beans for an extra layer of flavor, and if I’m making chicken, you know I’m marinating it in Mexican Adobo for that finger-licking good flavor." - Karen's Staff Picks, 2021
