Thank you for the recipe for Hummus! We eat a lot of Hummus but we have always bought it. I’d love to make it myself.

This nutritious snack is packed with plant protein and savory za’atar! Bread SRSLY Classic Sourdough makes crispy “pita” chips that are delicious dipped in a zesty za’atar hummus- great for those back-from-winter-break lunches. Serve with fresh veggies of your choice for a balanced nosh.
1 tablespoon Oaktown Spice Shop Za’atar
One 14 oz can chickpeas, drained
1 tablespoon Oaktown Spice Shop Za’atar
Add fresh veggies to serve alongside the pita chips and hummus. Enjoy!

I would also note to be sure to roast the garlic cloves!! Otherwise, you will have that spicy, overpowering garlic flavor that will stick with you for the rest of the day. Ever since I began roasting my garlic for homemade hummus (and other recipes), I never smell like a garlic head anymore.
Enjoy!
