The spice-box or masala dabba is as intrinsic to a South Asian kitchen as digestion is in Ayurveda. A 5,000 year-old holistic health system stemming from India, Ayurveda offers an empowering body of wisdom designed to live a vibrant and healthy life.
What we eat, and more importantly what we can digest, is an integral component of this time-tested science. Spices not only nourish the taste buds, but their therapeutic properties enhance the body's ability to heal, eliminate, and digest with ease, supporting metabolization, absorption, and assimilation of nutrients.
With this in mind, we’ve collaborated with chit.chaat.chai, a holistic living platform inspired by Ayurveda, to curate 11 digestion-supporting spices used in traditional Ayurvedic meals to bring a myriad of aromas and flavors to your next meal.
