How to Use Matcha Salt

Featuring finely ground green tea leaves and toasted brown rice (genmai), our Matcha Salt is a versatile finishing salt that adds a subtle vegetal, nutty flavor to savory or sweet dishes.

Matcha Salt

Matcha Salt is one of several traditional condiments for deep-fried tempura, adding a burst of flavor and color to the otherwise unseasoned batter.

Try it on anything fried - french fries, fried chicken or fish. It's also delicious on grilled chicken, fried eggs, sprinkled on a salad, or tossed into popcorn. Dip your veggies in it. Make a Matcha Milkshake and top it with Matcha Salt.

We plan on using Matcha Salt as a rim on our spring and summer cocktails, such as this Sake Penicillin Cocktail with Matcha Rim.
