SWEET & NOURISHING SPICED DESSERTS
Learn to make healthful and delicious plant based desserts*! Join local Holistic Nutritionist, Lila Volkas in learning how to sweeten your treats naturally and use healthy fats to feel satiated and not deprived! During the workshop participants will create and enjoy chocolate avocado mousse, golden milk banana “ice cream,” and sweet spiced seeds.
Discover the health benefits of the dessert recipe ingredients and spices, find out the nutritional benefits of eating healthy fat, learn tips to balance your blood sugar and enjoy indulging yourself with whole-food treats.
All participants will be able to make and taste the desserts, and will take home the recipes and complimentary spice samples.

Hello! I'm Lila. I am a Holistic Nutritional Consultant, food writer and illustrator based in Berkeley. I believe food can be our best medicine. I have experienced a profound affect on my health from shifting what I eat. It is a pleasure to work with clients and teach workshops because it allows me to connect with others and help them deepen their relationship with what they put in their body.
